DeLoia and the 4 x 100m relay Qualify in Losses to Plainville and East Catholic.

Nick DeLoia threw a personal best ,122 ft 3 inches, taking first place overall in the Discus, while the 4 x 100 m relay team of Kyle Connoly, Kevin Parnell, Taylor Tavarozzi, and Ian VanderGulik ran 46.2 in a losing effort while qualifying  for the Class MM State Meet at Willow Brook Park on Tues. June 4.   Plainville, led by a strong senior class defeated the Redcoats 89-61.  Other strong performances were turned in by Justin Ronciaoli in the 1600 and 3200, and Mark Jolley, who won the high jump with a jump of 5 ft 6 inches.   Dan Erickson achieved his personal best in the 300 hurdles in a time of 46.2 sec.   The Redcoats have their last dual meet of the season Thursday May 15 at Morgan in Clinton.  The 'coats are looking forward to the Northwest Conference Championships meet on Wed. May 21 at RHAM.
