Berlin Receives CCC Fall Sportsmanship Award

The Fall sports teams from Berlin were awarded the Sportsmanship award in the CCC South.  This is the result of a rigorous process where every school in our division rank our athletes, coaches and fans in each fall sport. This is exactly the type of program we are always working towards.  Congratulations to our Fall Coaches, student-athletes and Fans.

February Booster Meeting

The Next meeting of Berlin Athletic Booster Club will take place, Tuesday Feb. 9 at 7:00 in the Amphitheater East side.  The meeting is open to all.  Come out and support the boosters - become a member!

2010 CCC Track Schedule is Posted

The Spring Schedule for the 2010 Boys and Girls Track Teams is posted on the site.  All dual  meets are coed and just about every meet is a dual meet (meaning only two schools are competing).  This should be interesting and represents a major change from the way meets were run in the old NWC.  The season kicks off with a home meet v. Middletown on Wed. April 7, 2010.  No time to warm up - with old NWC rival Middletown as our first meet of the season.  This will make our pre-season preparation even more crucial.  To see the schedule Click Here

Meeting Minutes

January 4, 2010          
Kevin Murphy called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm

 Secretary’s Report:  Minutes from the December 7, 2009 meeting were approved with one exception.  Clarification is needed from Jim Day for gross/net revenue from the NB/Berlin Thanksgiving –eve football game.  S. Garfi to request information from J. Day.

Treasurer’s Report: Total cash balance at January 4, 2010 was $66,531.14; Boosters General Fund balance is $31,136.19.


Donna Bovee to send note to Women’s Swim Coach (Amanda McCarthy) advising that a bill for $160.00 that Hadfields claims is past due will be paid from “Friends Of” funds unless directed differently.

Makup Winter Sports Information Night Tues. Dec. 8 at 5:00 PM

There will be a makeup Winter Sports Night, Tuesday Dec. 8 at 5:00 PM in the Auditorium, for those Winter Athletes who could not attend last week's Winter Sports Information Night.  Attendance a one of these meetings is required before any student may compete for Berlin High School.  If you attended the Fall Night, you don't need to attend again in the Winter or Spring.
