Athletic Director: James Day 139 Patterson Way Berlin, CT 06037 Ph. 860.828.6577 x 181 Girls Soccer Team acknowledged for SportsmanshipBHS Athletic Department is pleased to announce that our Girl’s Varsity Soccer team was selected for the Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association (CGSCA) Sportsmanship Award.
This statewide award displays what it means to be part of the Berlin High School Women's Soccer program. We hold our players to a high standard and expect nothing but the best sportsmanship from our players and coaches.
Our program demonstrated this throughout the season and was selected by the Central Connecticut Conference South Girls Coaches to represent our conference at the state level. We were then selected out of several qualified teams, as the team that "most exemplified sportsmanship" for the entire state of Connecticut. This is quite and honor for the program and they will be honored at the CGSCA All-State Banquet on January 15, 2012.
